1. Information we collect
- Account information: name, email, phone number, and password (stored securely via our auth provider).
- Customer profile: permanent carpet mark, addresses, and order history.
- Order details: pickup/delivery addresses, dates, carpet items, measurements, notes, invoices, and payment status.
- Location: approximate or precise location when you choose to pin an address or use “Use my location” (with your permission).
- Device & notifications: device tokens for push notifications, app language preference, and basic diagnostic data.
2. How we use information
- Provide pickup, washing, and delivery services
- Assign drivers and washing staff to orders
- Send status updates and notifications
- Generate invoices and manage payments
- Improve reliability, security, and customer support
- Comply with legal obligations
3. Sharing of information
We share data only as needed to operate the service:
- Staff roles: drivers, washing staff, and admins see order information required to do their jobs.
- Service providers: hosting, authentication, database, and push notification providers (e.g. Supabase, Firebase) that process data on our behalf.
- Maps: if you open navigation, map apps may receive the destination address you choose.
- We do not sell your personal information.
4. Data retention
We keep account and order records for as long as needed to provide the service, resolve disputes, and meet legal/accounting requirements. You may request account deletion via our Delete Account page.
5. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards including encrypted transport (HTTPS), authenticated access, and role-based permissions. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
6. Children’s privacy
Carpet Washer is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Your choices
- Update profile details in the app
- Control location and notification permissions in device settings
- Request account deletion from the Delete Account page or inside the app
